About Us
Huckleberry Films is a collaboration of 2 film makers, Caroline and David who have been making films together as a business since 2008.
Winning an international film making competition run by Friends of the Earth that year gave them the boost to set up, and they have made more than 600 short films in the 13 years since then!

Caroline graduated with a 1st class hons degree in English and Media, and is who you'll be chatting with if you get in touch.
She loves working with people, project managing, editing. presenting on camera and script writing. Creating impactful films that make a difference is something she finds really rewarding.
In her spare time - you'll likely find Caroline off on a walk or wild swim, taking photos for Blipfoto (often of wildlife including her favourite, badgers), playing with her drone camera or doing a jigsaw whilst listening to a podcast.
David's background is in animation, and it was a second hand video camera given to him as a gift back in the early 2000's that was the beginings of the company.
David finds it really satisfying to be see a project through from concept to completion. His beautifully composed camera work and unique animation is integral to their films.
In his spare time, you'll find Dave watching animated films or creating his own, fell running, gardening, or sat with a cat on his knee watching films and playing on the PS5.
Not officially Huckleberries but integral to morale... meet the girls!
The kittens are the newest addition to the team, and you might spot them on the back of a Zoom call as they are often around in the studio. They are a welcome sight waiting when Caroline and David get home from filming days.
